Thomas Maris

Born in Athens. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds an LLM in European and International Law from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel – (VUB). He was a Blue Book trainee in the Directorate General for Taxation and Customs Union (DG TAXUD ) of the European Commission.

He has been practicing law since 2001, and he is active both in legal consultancy and in representing clients in court. His practice covers mainly Public/Administrative Law cases in fields such as tax law, urban and land planning law, state aid issues and environmental law. He is also active in corporate and commercial law cases.

He is a lawyer before the Supreme Court of Greece and a member of the Athens Bar Association.
