Maria Ischnopoulou

Born in Thessaloniki, Maria graduated from the American College "Anatolia" high school. She holds an LL.B. Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, whereas during her studies she undertook a three-month long legal internship at the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank.

She completed her obligatory traineeship in the legal department of the Municipality of Oreokastro and later, in the legal department of an S.A. company.

She continued her studies in France, receiving an LL.M. (Master II) in International and European Trade and Investment Law from the Lumière Lyon II University in partnership with the Catholic University of Lyon. She then completed a two-month internship at the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU, in Brussels.

Maria is an admitted lawyer of First Instance at the Thessaloniki Bar Association, since 2021.
